Concept development means combining innovative solutions from technical feasibility, economic efficiency and ecological sustainability – from the first sketch to the detailed specifications. The focus is on simulations, material selection and the integration of modern manufacturing processes in order to create robust, future-proof systems.
In close cooperation with the customer, phase2 shapes ideas into mature products.
Concept selection
The most promising solution is selected from several solutions. The favoured concept serves as the basis for further elaboration.
- Assessment of feasibility, costs, resource requirements and risks
- Weighing up advantages and disadvantages (e.g. weight, complexity, ease of maintenance)
- Decision criteria: customer wishes, technical requirements, standards
Topology Optimization
With the help of topology and topography optimization, the optimal material distribution is sought within a defined installation space in order to achieve specified goals under certain loads and boundary conditions.

Simulation
Simulation is the virtual verification and optimization of the calculated design. The result is a validated, optimized design – often with iterative adjustments.
- Use of FEM (finite element method), CFD (flow simulation), MKS (multi-body simulation) etc.
- Visualization of tension curves, deformations, flow behavior
- Identification of weak points and optimization potential
Calculation
The aim is to dimension and check the technical feasibility of the concept.
- Calculation of forces, tensions, currents, thermals, etc.
- Selection of materials, cross-sections, tolerances
- Evidence (e.g. strength, service life, safety)
